Hi, I’m Neil (the person on the left!).

I manage nearly 500 Apple Macs for a university. My background is in sound engineering for music and IT training. Over the last 12 years I’ve been doing all three, sometimes at the same time and not in any specific order during my career.

If you want to know more about me professionally, visit my LinkedIn profile.

I love being a Mac admin and maybe my experiences will give a little back to the community that has given me so much. I’m honoured to be one of the administrators on the fantastic MacAdmins Slack community. I’m also involved in herding organising meet-ups as part of the London Apple Admins thing.

I used to ride a Honda CBF125 and cut my blogging teeth writing all sorts of things about it. Unexpected by me, that particular blog got rather popular!

Finally, I’m quite into politics and want to do my bit, however small, in trying to make the society we live in fairer for all of us. I have four kids and I want them to have the opportunity to learn, grow and flourish. That’s why I’m a member of the Labour Party.
